Adejumo Emmanuel Olufemi, a Choreographer, Versatile Dancer, Actor, A Poet, Singer, and multi-instrumentalist born to the family of most famous comedian in Nigeria called Baba Sala (Moses Olaiya Adejumo) in January 20th 1970
He joined OMITUN DANCE COMPANY under the auspice of Monsieur Abdul Isa Christopher { most popular contemporary dancer Choreographer in Nigeria} in 1989 and later graduated with a diploma in dance .In 1993, he joined Ogun State Council for Arts and Culture, Abeokuta,Nigeria as the State Choreographer and Dancer, then rose to become the head of the dance unit of the center, the post he held till 2001.
He was invited to join the National Troupe of Nigeria {the highest Arts body in Nigeria} as a dancer in 2001 for a 2 years contract, he was invited back in October 2003 as Principal Artiste and training Captain due to his well conduct and discipline during his first contract. Adejumo was the Dance Captain of the National Troupe of Nigeria between 2006 to 2011,
He has participated extensively in most National dance programmes in Nigeria amongst are 8th All African Game 2003 (COJA), CHOGM 2003, NAFEST (1989-date), ABUJA Carnival (2005-date), Lagos Black Heritage Festival 2010 and had worked and attended workshops with notable Directors and Choreographers such as Claude Brumachon, Peter Badejo OBE, Prof. Ahmed Yerima, Arnold Uduka, Prof. Ojo Bakare Rasaq, Abdul Isa Onibasa, Abubakar Usman, Prof Endo Yasuko (Japan), H Partern (UK) and many more.
Adejumo have performed in Congo, France, Japan, Egypt, USA, Benin Republic, Ghana, Cuba, Algeria, Zambia, South Africa, India, Dubai, Brazil and Trinidad and Tobago.
They participated in workshops and seminars organised by National and State councils. They were trained by notable dance choreographers and since then, they have been dancing and performing both cultural dances and contemporary dances actively with the company.
